The Young Clergy Women Project is led by a two-part board: the Editorial Board and the Community Board. The Editorial Board is responsible for the publishing parts of our project, Fidelia’s Sisters e-zine and our relationship with Chalice Press.
Managing Editor
Leah Grundset Davis spends her days in Washington, D.C. where she is the Associate Pastor for Congregational Life at Calvary Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Truett Seminary (MDiv, 2007) and Baylor University (BA, 2004) where she learned to love Texas. Leah is originally from the DC area and happy to be back in the land of four seasons, the Washington Redskins and a plethora of farmers markets. Leah, her husband John and dog Moses live in Manassas, Virginia.
Assistant Editor
Bromleigh McCleneghan Any time she’s not at work, she’s trying to spend quality time with her husband, chase her preschooler, nurse her infant, refrain from killing her ever-barking dog, keep up with friends, read, and write. In addition to editing The Jesus Review, she routinely writes for Theolog, the blog of The Christian Century.
Called & Sent
April Berends serves as the rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of Yale Divinity School and Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. She lives in Milwaukee with her husband (an Episcopal priest and musician) and their toddler son. Between the three of them, there’s a good chance that at any given moment, someone at their house is singing. April enjoys throwing pots, cooking, knitting, hiking, and tending a vast tangle of vegetable garden.

The Jesus Review
Mariclair Partee serves as the Canon for the Ministry of the Baptized at The Cathedral Church of the Nativity in the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem, PA. As her title suggests, she does a little bit of everything, with a focus on helping folks discern to what and where God is calling them. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Clair moved north to New York for seminary, graduating in 2007. When not priesting, she enjoys collapsing in a heap on the sofa with her beagles, Myrtle and Beauregard, and reading trashy novels.
Moms In Ministry
Alex Hendrickson is a PC(USA) pastor who graduated with an M.Div. from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2001. She lives with her husband and three children in Easton, PA. She is the interim Director of Religious & Spiritual Life and College Chaplain at Lafayette College. Alex and her family love walking to the Easton Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings and they recently began sharing their home with an orange kitty named Jeremiah. Alex also volunteers as the liaison between Chalice Press and TYCWP book imprint.
Single Rev’s Guide to Life
Corein Brown serves as an assistant pastor at Spirit of Hope Catholic Community in the Twin Cities. She is a transitional deacon within The Old Catholic Church, USA. Corein also works full-time as the Communications and Research Associate for the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research. When she isn’t on the road making the 90 mile trek between her church and work, she can often be found at the Central MN Catholic Worker praying, making interesting pizza (who knew tuna on pizza could taste so good!?), and discovering what it means to live out Benedictine hospitality. As a native New Mexican, Corein lives for Minnesota summers and loves biking on the Wobegon Trail, going to the farmer’s market, and attending as many small town parish festivals as humanly possible.
The Ones We Love
Amy Loving is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is a graduate of Heidelberg University (2002) and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (2005). In 2011, Amy created The Worship Closet, a blog and consultation business that provides creative worship ideas, liturgical art/design suggestions, and lectionary-based liturgy. When she is not writing or consulting for The Worship Closet, she enjoys dabbling in a variety of arts and crafts, reading whatever sci-fi/fantasy novel she can find, and collecting PEZ dispensers.
Sunday Morning and Beyond
Suzanne Parker Miller is an ordained Moravian minister living in Raleigh, NC. After graduating from Meredith College (B.A.), she attended Duke Divinity School and graduated from Moravian Theological Seminary (M.Div.) in Bethlehem, PA. Currently she is staying home with her son born in November 2011, dog, and husband Steve, and serves as an Independent Consultant with Celadon Road. In her free time she tries to not laugh during her attempts at yoga, wants to catch up on reading all the books she collected while in the parish, and hopes to finish her scrapbook from studying abroad in Heidelberg 10 years ago.
Along the Way
Lee Hull Moses lives in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she is the pastor of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She attended Albion College (BA) and the Divinity School at the University of Chicago (M.Div.). Lee and her husband Rob have two young children, Harper and Jonathan, who provide nearly endless entertainment.
