Altars & Altered: Preparing the Way for Young Clergy Women.
Join us July 29-August 1, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, for a time of equipping, collaborating, and transformation. Together we will explore the ways in which we can be altered to better share the gospel in challenging times. The Rev. Dr. Neichelle Guidry and the Rev. Dr. Liz Mosbo VerHage, our keynote speakers, will guide us as we build relationships with faith leaders & ministries different from us/our tradition and collaborate across ecumenical, racial, gender, and social lines to live fully into the Gospel as we are called. Additionally, Rev. Dr. Neichelle will be our preacher at our closing worship. Learn more about them on our speakers page.
We will gather together at St. Mark’s UMC on Monday evening and Thursday morning. Tuesday and Wednesday we will gather at Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. All housing will be at Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday are included in registration, as well as a light breakfast on Thursday and coffee breaks throughout. Full schedule here.
Cancellation Policy – We understand that even the best laid plans might have to change. Any registrations cancelled by June 1 will receive a full refund of registration fees. A 50% refund will be given to those cancellations between June 2 and July 1. No refunds will be given after July 1.
