A Litany for Changing Season

Post Author: Merianna Harrelson

The air feels crisper this morning.

The sunlight shines at a different angle.

Change is in the air.

We feel the change not only on our skin,

But in our souls.

Something is shifting.

The shift reminds us to remember

Remember that we are dust

And to dust we shall return.

Time is passing,

Our lives are fleeting,

We are here now.

So much has changed,

since the last time we felt

The winds moving.

May we stand,

Here and now,

And be.

In the change

Among the change

Changing.

Cirrus clouds appear backlit by the sun over a hilly skyline
