Fidelia’s Sisters is seeking new editorial board members! Editorial board members each serve as a column editors for the e-zine you’re currently reading, soliciting and editing pieces for monthly publication. Editorial board members also participate in monthly online editorial chats. Editorial board members are part of the larger Young Clergy Women project board, the other half being the community board. As a aboard member member, column editors commit to meeting in person once a year, if at all possible, and serving on committee along with their sister community board members.
What do you get in return? You get to help shape the one and only publication that is by, for, and about young clergy women. You also get to work with a bunch of neat young clergy women who are interested in doing the same!
Interested? Nominate yourself or your young clergy woman friend by emailing me at managingeditor (dot) ycw (at) gmail (dot) com by April 30, 2010. The position will begin in July 2010. Candidates who can to come to the conference and board meeting in Atlanta in late June/early July will be given preferential treatment.
As announced last month, one of the board members rotating off is MaryAnn McKibbon Dana. MaryAnn was part of the inaugural young clergy women board, serving as the beginning as the editor for Christ and Creativity. She published poetry, songs, hymn lyrics, photography, and interviews from and about our creative young clergy women sisters. We are very grateful to her for her service.
Ann Bonner-Stewart is the managing editor for this lovely publication. Ann also serves as chaplain, director of community service, adviser, and residential faculty member at an all girls’ Episcopal boarding and day high school.
